Question: Barakallahu Feekum. This listener is Muhammad who says: What is the ruling in the legislation in your opinion, oh virtuous Shaikh, for the following expressions: it is from good luck such and such [occurred]…

Answer: As for the expression: good luck such and such [occurred], then this used by the companions of the stars who base the decree of good or evil for a person by the horoscopes. It is an expression that is not necessary for a person to say, rather it is closer to being prohibited than disliked….”
