Question: Is it allowed to recite a supplication during the prayer in other than Arabic?
Answer: “He should be eager to know the supplications in the Arabic language. If he establishes the obligatory affairs and what is necessary [during the prayer] in the Arabic language and then supplicates in other than Arabic, then that is for him [i.e. the reward]”
