Is it Allowed to Sit In front of a Person Who Missed Some of the Prayer In order to be a Sutrah for Him? – Shaikh al-Albani

Questioner: If a person comes and sits in front of a praying person so that he can be a sutrah for him, is this considered passing in front of the praying person?

Shaikh: Is what?

Questioner: Is it considered passing in front of the congregants, that is, is this action allowed?

Shaikh: Between him and the person praying and between sitting?

Questioner: He does not have a sutrah in front of him and the prayer ended. So a person comes so that he can be a sutrah for this man

Shaikh: This is the one who sits?

Questioner: Yes

Shaikh: So that he can be a sutrah for him. This is not considered passing in front of him

Questioner: Yes

Shaikh: This is a good affair from the angle of cooperating upon good“.
