Question: What is your opinion, your Eminence, on the remembrance of international teacher’s day and the likes of these days and weeks?

Answer: “Remembrances which are connected to occasions and the likes have not come with evidence from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger (ﷺ). So the likes of that from the affairs is an innovation which the people innovated”
