And What is the way to purify it and its path as Allah, the Exalted said:<strong> Indeed he succeeds who purifies his oneself<\/strong> [91:9]?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer<\/strong>: The types of souls mentioned in the Noble Quran are three: the soul that commands evil ( <strong>\u0623\u0645\u0627\u0631\u0629 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0648\u0621<\/strong>), the self-reproaching soul (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0641\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0648\u0627\u0645\u0629<\/strong>), and the pious soul (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0641\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0637\u0645\u0626\u0646\u0629<\/strong>). The soul that orders evil is\u00a0the one who commands its owner to its prohibited desires and following falsehood. As for the self-reproaching soul: it makes its owner feel guilty for what passed it of good and makes him remorseful for it. As for the pious soul: it is the one that feels tranquil with its Lord and His obedience, commands, and remembrance. It is not feel settled\/tranquil with other than it. Allamah Ibn Qayyim rahimahullah said: It being called pious (<strong>\u0645\u0637\u0645\u0626\u0646\u0629<\/strong> ) is a description of praise for it. And (<strong>\u0623\u0645\u0627\u0631\u0629 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0648\u0621<\/strong>) is a blameworthy description for it and (\u0627<strong>\u0644\u0646\u0641\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0648\u0627\u0645\u0629<\/strong>) is a description to praise and blameworthiness in accordance to what the soul feels guilty about.
