These stories have caused a lot of anger and outrage from society because it demonstrated how widespread this problem really is. Once a young girl passed by me in one of the streets of Madinah when I extended my hand and touched her side. When it was the next day, the people went to the Prophet (\ufdfa) to give him the pledge of allegiance. So I came and extended my hand for the pledge of allegiance and he (\ufdfa) said: I consider you the one who pulled\/grabbed [the young girl], (that is you are the one who pulled\/grabbed the young girl yesterday). I said: O Messenger of Allah (\ufdfa), give me the pledge of allegiance. By Allah, I will not do this ever again. He said: Then, yes [I will]&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[Reported in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad (5\/294) and graded Saheeh by Imam al-Wadi&#8217;ee in Jami&#8217; as-Saheeh (3\/85)]<\/p>\n<p>Shaikh Muqbil rahimahullah placed this Hadith under the chapter title:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A man extending his hand to a woman who is prohibited for him&#8221; [Saheeh Musnad (3\/85)]<\/p>\n<p>In another Hadith, the Prophet (\ufdfa) said to Aswad ibn Asram (may Allah be pleased with him):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0644\u0627 \u062a\u0628\u0633\u064f\u0637\u0652 \u064a\u062f\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0625\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0625\u0644\u0649 \u062e\u064a\u0631\u064d \u060c \u0648\u0644\u0627 \u062a\u0642\u064f\u0644\u0652 \u0628\u0644\u0633\u0627\u0646\u0650\u0643\u064e \u0625\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0645\u0639\u0631\u0648\u0641\u064b\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Do not extend your hand except towards to good and do not say with your tongue except good [Saheeh Targheeb no. 2867]<\/p>\n<p>In yet another Hadith, Ma&#8217;qal ibn Yasaar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger (\ufdfa) said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0644\u0623\u0646 \u064a\u0637\u0639\u0646 \u0623\u062d\u062f \u0628\u0645\u062e\u064a\u0637 \u0645\u0646 \u062d\u062f\u064a\u062f \u0641\u064a \u0631\u0623\u0633 \u062e\u064a\u0631 \u0644\u0647 \u0645\u0646 \u0623\u0646 \u064a\u0645\u0633 \u0627\u0645\u0631\u0623\u0629 \u0644\u0627 \u062a\u062d\u0644\u0651 \u0644\u0647<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For anyone of you to be punctured through the head by an iron rod is better for him than to touch a woman who is not permissible for him to touch [Saheeh Targheeb no. 1910]<\/p>\n<p>We learn from the above narrations that this behavior is wrong and unlawful.
