Was this reported from the salaf?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer<\/strong>: &#8220;I do not know that this was reported from the salaf, I mean, the statement of the khateeb when he ends his khutbah: (\u0623\u0642\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0644\u0627\u0629) make the iqamah for salah or saying:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0625\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0644\u0627\u0629 \u062a\u0646\u0647\u0649 \u0639\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062d\u0634\u0627\u0621 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0646\u0643\u0631<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha&#8217; (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[29:45]<\/p>\n<p>So it is not necessary for the Imam to say this. However, when he finishes the khutbah he descends [from the minbar] then the iqamah is called just as the Prophet (\ufdfa) did so and likewise his Rightly-guided Caliphs.
