The Ruling on Boycotting Muslim Parents – Shaikh Ibn ul-‘Uthaymeen

Question: Is it allowed to boycott Muslim parents if it is for a legislated benefit?

Answer: “Yes, if in boycotting the parents there is a legislated benefit for them, then there is no harm in boycotting them. However, that should not necessitate the prevention of tying the kinship. Tie the kinship with them with what is obligatory upon you to do, like spending on them in regards to food, drink, housing, and other than that…”
