The Ruling on Making Wudu with Bandage if Needed – Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan

Question: A person has a small wound on his finger and he placed a bandage on it.  Is it necessary to remove it if he wants to make wudu?

Answer: “No. If a bandage is placed on a wound or broken bone, then it remains if it is healing (i.e. the wound or the broken bone). He wipes over it, it suffices if he wipes over it in wudu, over the bandage. He leaves it because there is a benefit for the wound or broken bone in order for it to strengthen and heal”
