The Ruling on Reciting the Fatiha Before the Imam – Shaikh Salih al-Fawzaan

Question: What is the ruling on the one behind the Imam reciting the Fatiha before the Imam in the loud prayer?

Answer: “There is no harm for him to recite it during the times the Imam is silent. There is no harm if he recites it [al-Fatiha] in the time the Imam is silent before he begins his recitation, and the time which is after it, and before ruku’ and like this”
