After Making the Openng Takbir, does one Tie His Hands On the chest or Let Them Hang Down First? – Shaikh al-Albani

Questioner: Shaikh, in regards to the opening Takbir. When I make takbir, do I let my hands down hang down or do I tie them near my stomach or chest because we have seen some youth?

Shaikh: If you make takbir then place them immediately on the chest and do not let them hang down then place them.

Questioner: upon my chest?

Shaikh: yes

Questioner: near my stomach then hold them together?

Shaikh: It is like this: tie them to the chest holding one hand to the other. The intent is not to let them hang down first.
