Question: There are women who come to attend the lectures in the masjid. They bring with them charity boxes for charity organizations or marriage assistance projects. The question is: is it allowed to donate to them in the masjid?
Answer: “There is no one who will prevent donating in the path of good. There is no one who will prevent it, however, as for distracting the attendees with this begging, is not necessary. The place is not the place of fundraising. The place is a place of listening and seeking knowledge. Yes.
So it is necessary that the Masaajid not be a place of begging or charity boxes or donations busying the people with that. Yes.”
