Question: May Allah good to you. Umm Maraam said: Oh Virtuous Shaikh (may Allah preserve you), what is your opinion about writing stories for children and having excitement for them and writing narratives?
Answer: “Writing instructional stories for children which have good cultivation for the children, then there is no harm in it. This is because the goal is to cultivate the children and entertain them. This is if there is nothing prohibited in it or lying or teaching [the children] theft or deception. It should be a writing that is guided”.
