Question: Oh Virtuous Shaikh, what has occurred recently in terms of the economic recession, is it indicated by the last Hadith [mentioned]:
مَا أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الرِّبَا إِلاَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ أَمْرِهِ إِلَى قِلَّةٍ
There is no one who deals in usury a great deal (to increase his wealth) but he will end up with little (i.e., his wealth will be decreased).

Answer: “Yes, yes. No doubt”
