Question: There is a person from the people of innovation and I love him for the sake of Allah. Should I inform him of that?
Answer: “How can you love him for the sake of Allah and he is from the people of innovation? Innovation must be hated for the sake of Allah, not loved for the sake of Allah. Verily it is upon you to advise him until he is upright and that your love for Allah be in its correct place”.
