Shaikh Bakr Abu Zaid rahimahullah said:
“The Khatmul-Quran dua inside the Taraweeh prayer is an action that has no origin from the guidance of the Prophet (ﷺ) or the guidance of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). A narration [on the issue] was not reported at all. Whoever claims [that], then upon him is the evidence” [Tasheeh adu-Dua (pg. 423-424)].
