Is the statement صلى الله عليه و سلم reported from the Prophet? – Shaikh Al-Albani

Question: In regards to the statement (صلى الله عليه و سلم ) or (عليه السلام) or ( عليه الصلاة و السلام). Do these suffice for a reported text from the Prophet

Shaikh: Where? In what place do you mean?

Questioner: In the mention of the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم in a lecture. So for example, the lecturer says: صلى الله عليه و سلم. So we are not able to say: اللهم صلى على محمد و على ال محمد

Shaikh: Of course. So here it is clear to you the importance of the actions of Salaf. So you read a lot of Ahaadith which are considered in the thousands and in everyone the narrator says: The Messenger of Allah said. Does he say:

No. He says: the Messenger of Allah

This is sufficient and to be applied. Is it clear? This action is taken from the action of the Salaf. Yes”.
