Question: Is walking quickly and having distance between each step for women considered imitating men?
Answer: “The affairs which are specific to men are what is prohibited in the legislation [the following words are unclear]. As for the issue of walking quickly, it is good for a woman as it is good for men. A woman might have a need [to walk fast] like how a man has a need to walk fast. However, the speech [regarding the prohibition] is in regards to an attribute known to be specific to men, not found among women or an attribute of a woman not found among men”.
