If a Dog Licks Your Clothing or Body , Do you Have to Wash it Seven Times? – Shaikh Abdul-Muhsin al-‘Abbad

Question: If a dog licks clothing or the body part of a person, does washing the saliva of the body or clothing once suffice?

Answer: “It suffices. This is similar to what the hunting dog catches and the saliva that falls on it. It is not washed with dust and it is not washed seven times. That has only been reported for utensils as the way to purify [them]”.
